We speak about low visibility take-off if the runway visual range is at or below 400m RVR. The requirements for low visibility operation are given in AMC1 SPA.LVO.100. Low visibility take-off qualification is required in SPA.LVO.120 a AMC1 SPA.LVO.120.

In most of the cases the Flight training apply to the captains or commanders only. The low visibility take-off training does not usually apply to co-pilots.
